At The Center we believe that you should celebrate who you are, what makes you unique and why you matter. For members of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth community, we provide a safe, inclusive and affirming environment to foster relationships, personal and professional skills and the evolution of identity. Open to young people between the ages of 13-21, our programs build self-esteem and help ready you for various life stages. We also offer a first-of-its kind substance use treatment program to help LGBTQ young people, ages 13 and older, make healthy decisions about drugs and alcohol.

I’ve gained so much from The Center's youth leadership programs. DD Center community member

"Before coming to The Center, I was embarrassed of who I was and didn’t think I was smart enough to reach my goals. Now, I’m more aware of my surroundings, better able to communicate with people in my life,

and have truly found myself along the way. I got the support and encouragement I needed to feel empowered to make changes in my life, and recently returned to school—I’m not giving up on myself!”
