In this moment of national xenophobia, transphobia and homophobia, award-winning photographer Steven Laxton is teaming up with Immigration Equality, the nation’s leading LGBTQ immigrant rights organization, and NYC’s LGBT Community Center to celebrate trans and queer asylum recipients building new lives in the U.S. This photography exhibit shares their powerful stories.
